I pride myself on being a quick and intuitive collaborator when it comes to editing on screen. I have been blessed to work with the great Luke Haigh on multiple projects. Apart from being very handsome, he has taught me to use every tool in the toolbox to tell the story in the most effective way possible.
What a privilege to work on Tinā! I teared up constantly putting together the music sequences. Something about humans singing together is magical. Five weeks at number 1 in New Zealand!
We had a wild post schedule on this series (nine months from funding decision to broadcast!), and we took some large structural risks. I also did assisting duties, onlining, animations, credits, and the opening sequence.
Editing this film with Luke was a lot of fun. We worked remotely with the Portland based filmmakers and had plenty of laughs.
A career highlight. Working with Lee Tamahori (Once Were Warriors) on this historical drama starring Guy Pearce and featuring impeccable craftwork across the board made me raise my game.
I spent four and a half months in Thailand working on 650 deliverables with director Damien Shatford and editor Luke Haigh and I loved every minute of it. Bringing Damien's offbeat style to a goliath of products required a surgeon's hand.
My first job with Luke! We spent a summer editing beautiful footage of beautiful people falling in love. Working with Rick Jacobson was a highlight, too. A lovely behind the scenes experience all around.
I feel bad taking any credit for this one. I did the first couple of cuts and then Ferand Peek took over and smashed it outta the park!
Have a project in mind? Or just wanna say hi? I'd love to hear from you.
